Preparing Your Computer
- Download and Install XAMPP for Your Operating System - WITH DEFAULT OPTIONS - Windows Linux OSX Solaris
- Download and Install the Perl Addon for XAMPP (Windows Users) - WITH DEFAULT OPTIONS - Windows ONLY

Installing WiiCR on Win32
Download Version
0.3.2-RC6
- Download WiiCR
- Extract the contents of the WiiCR archive to the XAMPP Directory. (C:\Program Files\xampp)
- Download WiiCR tools
- Extract to the contents of WiiCR_tools to C:\Program Files\xampp\'. Win32
- Create a Shortcut on the desktop to "C:\Program Files\xampp\enc_daemon.bat" and open it.
- If you installed WiiCR in a custom directory edit "C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\wiicr\config.dat" adjust to match your system and install.
- Start XAMPP & Apache, Double Click the Control Icon on your Desktop, start apache.
- Point your browser to http://localhost/wiicr
- click the config icon
- make sure your Encoder exe and Flvtool2 locations are correct (use / not \ as a directory delimiter).

Installing WiiCR on *nix
Download Version
0.3.2-RC6
- download mencoder OSX Nix (Source)
- extract the mencoder executable to '/opt/lampp/wiicr_tools'
- download flvtool2 (link comming)
- extract the flvtool2 executable to '/opt/lampp/wiicr_tools'
- Extract the contents of the WiiCR archive to the LAMPP Directory. (/opt/lamp)
- Edit "/opt/lamp/htdocs/wiicr/config.dat" adjust to match your system and directory locations and install.
- Start the enc_daemon.pl.
- Start XAMPP & Apache, Type /opt/lampp/lampp start in Terminal Mode
- Point your browser to http://localhost/wiicr
- click the config icon
- make sure your Encoder exe and Flvtool2 locations are correct (use / not \ as a directory delimiter).

Testing Succesfull Installation
- If you installed properly, you should be able to access WiiCR via http://localhost/wiicr
- If that works, then you can view WiiCR on your Wii, by going to http://your.computer/wiicr
- Of Course, replacing your.computer with your IP Address (findable via Command Prompt as "ipconfig")
